Supporting People Who Think Differently

If you’re intelligent, perceptive, and capable—yet find yourself struggling with anxiety, feeling exhausted by trying to fit in, or wondering why life feels harder than it should—we understand. Our practice specializes in working with adults who experience the world with unusual depth and intensity.

Who We Serve

Neurodivergent individuals. Diagnosed and undiagnosed ASD and ADHD adults. Late-diagnosed individuals finally understanding themselves. People who are smart but unhappy.

We Practice Trauma-Informed Care

Many bright and neurodivergent adults carry trauma—from years of masking, from not being understood, from trying to force yourself into neurotypical molds. We create a safe space where your past experiences are honored and your healing is supported. We recognize that traditional therapy approaches may not have worked for you, and we meet you where you are.

  • Understanding the impact of past experiences on present functioning
  • Creating safety in the therapeutic relationship
  • Recognizing masking and camouflaging as survival strategies
  • Supporting authentic self-expression without judgment

Inclusive and Affirming

Your identity matters here. We affirm all aspects of who you are—your neurodivergence, your ways of thinking, your ways of being in the world. We don’t pathologize difference; we help you understand yourself and build a life that works for how your brain actually operates.

We affirm and support:
  • Neurodivergent individuals discovering and embracing their authentic selves
  • Autistic adults who may have been late-diagnosed or are self-identified
  • Adults with ADHD navigating executive function challenges
  • AuDHD individuals (Autistic with ADHD) managing both neurotypes
  • Twice-exceptional adults with both high abilities and learning differences
  • All cultural backgrounds and life experiences

Proud LGBTQIA+ Allies

We welcome and affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals. Many bright and neurodivergent people also navigate questions of gender identity and sexual orientation, and we provide a space where all parts of your identity can be explored and celebrated.

Our commitment includes:
  • Using correct names and pronouns
  • Understanding intersectionality of neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+ identities
  • Supporting exploration of gender and sexuality
  • Creating a safe space free from judgment
  • Affirming all relationship structures and orientations

You’re in Control

We understand that different situations call for different approaches to therapy. Some people need short sprints during crisis while others want deeper work with long-term change—staying engaged over time to develop new skills, understand patterns, and make fundamental shifts in how they approach life.

Whether you want ongoing weekly sessions for deeper development or periodic check-ins when specific challenges arise, we’ll work with you in whatever way serves you best.

  • Weekly or bi-weekly sessions based on your needs
  • Short-term focused work for specific issues
  • Long-term developmental therapy
  • Periodic check-ins as life challenges arise
  • No judgment about how often you connect or don’t

“Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.”

– Vincent van Gogh

We address anxiety, depression, perfectionism, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the unique struggles of being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world.

Comprehensive Assessment

Understanding your cognitive profile can be life-changing. We offer thorough psychological assessment for ADHD, autism, cognitive abilities, and neuropsychological functioning. Assessment includes extensive interview, testing, feedback sessions, and a detailed report.

When one or both partners are neurodivergent, relationships can be both deeply fulfilling and uniquely challenging. We help couples bridge different communication styles, navigate sensory and emotional differences, and build relationship structures that work for both partners.

What Makes Us Different

We Get It. We specialize in bright, neurodivergent adults. This isn’t an add-on to our practice—it’s our focus. We understand complex inner worlds, intense emotions, and the exhaustion of masking.

Continuity of Care. The psychologist you meet initially will be the one you continue working with throughout your therapy or assessment. We believe this continuity builds trust and allows for deeper, more effective work.

No Cookie-Cutter Approaches. Every person is unique. We tailor our approach to your specific needs, strengths, and goals. We design evaluations based on your questions, and observations during testing inform our ongoing work together.

Evidence-Based and Practical. We use proven therapeutic approaches while staying grounded in what actually works for your daily life. We’re not interested in theory for theory’s sake—we’re here to help you make your life work better.
